Business Systems Architect

Initial 3 month contract

Derby (2 days per week in the office)

£650 per day (Inside IR35)

About the role:

• Manage multi-disciplinary detailed IT systems projects architecture, design and implementation including HRMS and many more.
• Designing systems that can scale to accommodate future growth and technological advancements
• To ensure that the introduction of the IT systems solutions are delivered within the agreed timescales to support the operation of the Business.
• Ensuring that system architectures adhere to security best practices and comply with relevant regulations.
• Acting as a conduit between the BAU teams, Franchise Delivery, designers and suppliers on the delivery of integrated IT systems Data solutions.
• To develop effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders working in a positive and collaborative manner providing relevant and timely updates.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of system architectures and design decisions

Skills Required:

• Educated to degree level and with TOGAF (or equivalent) qualification.
• Experience across a broad range of core business systems including Finance, HR, and Operational Systems.
• Ability to understand and document a diverse technical landscape with Demonstrable successful delivery of a design, with emphasis on multi-disciplinary and multi interface solutions
• Expertise in secure by design and other cyber requirements
• Ability to engage key suppliers and business stakeholders to drive requirements and solution design
• Experience in setting up and integrating a technical design authority into existing IT projects/governance structures
• A self-starter with the ability to work under their own initiative and as part of a wider Transition Team.
• Ability to work in a fast moving environment, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
