We are therefore seeking an experienced ERP Engineering Senior Manager for our Finance product team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering robust and performant solutions for various BCG initiatives supporting the firm’s Finance function, with a focus on our ERP platform, SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. Working in an Agile squad environment, the candidate will be a hands-on contributor and leader for all aspects of the project delivery cycle. As a key technical resource, you will work closely with other groups in building new functionality, assisting with architectural designs, helping to define sprints, and partnering to turn requirements into reality. The candidate will serve as line manager for engineers focused on SAP-specific components such as Business Technology Platform (BTP), Cloud Foundry, iFlows, and Data Sphere.

The candidate will oversee operational support and perform related tasks, including:

• Define architecture and technical standards for using SAP BTP services, such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, SAP BPA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Data Sphere
• Lead the development and deployment of custom applications, extensions, and services on SAP BTP to meet business needs
• Design data management and analytics solutions on SAP BTP using tools like SAP BPA, SAP CALM, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Analytics Cloud
• Define and enforce security standards for application development, data management, and integration on SAP BTP
• Provide regular status updates to project managers and senior leadership on SAP BTP activities
• Mentor a global team of engineers specializing in SAP technologies
• Act as escalation point and SME for production support incidents related to BTP and in-scope technologies
• Ensure solution architecture aligns with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud capabilities and extensibility
• Write clear Technical Systems Design documents based on business requirements
• Support the current application environment collaboratively

• College degree and 8+ years of experience in business applications in IT or consulting
• 7+ years of SAP ecosystem experience with deep expertise in SAP BTP components
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on SAP BTP at scale
• Expertise in cloud architecture, API management, and integration
• Proficiency with SAP development tools and methodologies
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience working in Agile teams on critical applications
• Knowledge of security best practices in development and deployment
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities

You will report to the Technology Team Lead for SAP S/4HANA, working closely with engineering leads and solution architects to implement best practices.
