macOS Infrastructure Engineer

Location: London, Glasgow, Bristol, York or Manchester

Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week

Contract: Until 26 March 2027

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced macOS Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain enterprise-scale Apple and Windows environments.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with macOS administration, Jamf Pro and endpoint management, alongside a solid understanding of Windows infrastructure and enterprise IT systems.

You will be responsible for maintaining endpoint environments, supporting infrastructure operations, implementing technical changes and ensuring systems remain secure, stable and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise macOS environments using Jamf Pro.

• Manage Mac device configuration, deployment, software installation and updates.

• Support Windows infrastructure, including Active Directory, SCCM and Group Policy.

• Manage mobile device management platforms and endpoint configurations.

• Monitor infrastructure performance, identify issues and respond to alerts.

• Support security policies, patch management and endpoint compliance.

• Implement infrastructure changes in line with established change control processes.

• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software and connectivity issues.

• Work with infrastructure and security teams to maintain service availability.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of endpoint management and infrastructure processes.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on experience administering macOS environments.

• Proven experience with Jamf Pro.

• Experience with Windows administration, Active Directory and Group Policy.

• Knowledge of SCCM and enterprise endpoint management.

• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Workspace ONE or AirWatch.

• Understanding of endpoint security, patching and configuration management.

• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, alerting and troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of IT change management and operational support processes.

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise IT environments.
