Enterprise Architect 12-Month Contract (Carve-Out / M&A)

We’re recruiting a top-tier Enterprise Architect to join a major carve-out & separation programme, a rare chance to shape the architecture of a newly standalone organisation from the ground up.

Hands-on experience directing architecture in carve-outs, divestitures, M&A integrations, or major enterprise transformations is essential for this role.

The Role

• You will own the target-state architecture, ensuring every technology decision aligns with the strategic, operational, and regulatory needs of the new standalone organisation.
• You’ll work closely with Infrastructure, Applications, Cyber/Security, Data, and Network Architects to design a coherent, scalable, secure, and future-ready architecture landscape.
• You’ll also collaborate with selected Systems Integrators and third-party software and service providers, enabling successful delivery across the entire separation programme

Skills Needed

• Deep architectural knowledge in a heavily integrated Oracle Fusion environment
• Strong governance leadership across senior stakeholders
• Hands-on experience leading architecture in carve-outs, M&A integrations, divestitures, or major transformation programmes
• Ability to manage competing priorities, drive accountability, and deliver outcomes under pressure.

Experience

• 15+ years in enterprise or solution architecture
• 3+ experience of carve-outs, M&A integration, or ERP implementations
• Demonstrated success in simplifying legacy environments
• Proven experience in influencing Board-level executives and IT leaders
• Proven leadership in multi-million-pound programmes (>£50m)
