SC cleared DBA - Oracle, SQL, Solaris

You must:

1. Have an active MOD SC (Security Check) clearance.
2. Be a sole UK national (British citizenship only).
   • No dual nationality.
3. Have used your SC clearance within the last 12 months.
   • An SC that has been dormant too long may not be transferable.
4. Have at least 3 months remaining before the clearance expires.
5. Be willing to work 100% onsite in Barrow-in-Furness.
6. Be paid through an umbrella company (PAYE).
   • No Ltd company/outside IR35 arrangement.
7. Have strong experience with SQL and Solaris.

The role

Database Administrator (DBA)

Location:

• Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria
• Full-time onsite

Contract:

• Initial 3 months
• Possible extension

Technical skills they're looking for

Ideally experience with:

• Oracle
• Microsoft SQL Server
• MySQL
• PostgreSQL
• Solaris (important)
• SQL (important)

Experience with older/Legacy versions is considered a bonus because defence environments often run older systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Oracle certification
• Microsoft certification
• Experience on secure/government/defence systems
• Ability to travel within the UK
