Android Tech Lead (VIPER Experience) Location: London, Hybrid - 3 Days per Week Onsite Contract: Initially 3 months, Extension Likely NO SPONSORSHIP We're looking for a seasoned Android Tech Lead with 6 + years of experience who thrives on clean architecture, scalable design, and mentoring teams. Key Responsibilities Lead Android development initiatives and guide a team … and mentoring developers. Deep expertise in Kotlin , Java , RxJava , and Jetpack Compose . Strong understanding of Android architecture patterns (including VIPER , MVVM, and Clean Architecture), asynchronous programming, and UI / UX best practices. Hands-on experience with CI / CD , automated testing ( JUnit , Espresso ), and DevOps workflows. Familiarity with Google Play Console , crash analytics, A / B testing, and performance tuning. Knowledge of mobile security , data encryption, and compliance with Play Store policies. Agile mindset with experience in Scrum or similar methodologies.
