Software Assurance Engineer Location: Yeovil, 3 days on site per week Rate: £65 p/h Umbrella Inside IR35 Duration: 6 Months initial The role primarily covers technical delivery for software and/or airborne electronic hardware, collectively referred to as Programmable Elements (PE), assurance activities on UK based helicopter programmes. The role of software assurance is to provide independent technical evidence and argument for internally developed systems and supplier provided systems with PE to provide confidence that these systems have been developed to the required standards. The day-to-day activities will include review of supplier deliverables, attendance at design reviews, production of PE assurance reports, providing SME support to other … departments and planning of future PE activity in support of management.
