default not by exception Your Skills & Experience as a Platform Engineer: Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Proficient in scripting or programming (Python, Go, Bash, etc.) Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI … Jenkins, etc.) Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, etc.).
