As an Azure expert, you will be able to come in and undertake a full review of their current data warehouses, processes … and storage. The initial part of the contract will be a discovery piece focused on information gathering, loads of stakeholder engagement, data-flow discovery and a maturity assessment. You'll be able to give a solid review of internal artefacts including data models, reports, Azure architecture diagrams and documentation. You will essentially then provide a Data strategy … alongside a road-map (a sequenced plan to move from current to future state) and then recommend data principles, a data quality model and governance roles.
