Overview Cloud Engineer Location: Wakefield UK The Cloud Engineer will work collaboratively within Aptean's Cloud Teams, reporting directly to the International Tech Hub Manager. They will mentor other team members in the development, deployment, and ongoing monitoring and support of environments for our customers. They will have opportunities to be involved at all stages … of a project - covering requirements, cloud services deployment, security and compliance, systems engineering and operational readiness. They will develop and test cloud infrastructure disaster recovery plans before handing off to the appropriate cloud department for annual scheduling. They will bring knowledge of core AWS and Azure services and experience performing systems engineering tasks as part of a … project team. Duties/Scope The day-to-day management of the cloud infrastructures for Aptean's Business Systems, Applications, High Availability, and BAU (Business as Usual). Constant examination and re-evaluation of existing systems to provide efficiencies within the cloud infrastructures. Maintaining an efficient environment to keep BAU costs to a minimum.
