We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer Consultant with a focus on campus routing and switching. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring efficient and secure data transfer. This role will support the Unified Communication (UC) teams, particularly in network engineering aspects. Responsibilities: Design and implement functional network infrastructure (routing, switching, Wi-Fi) to ensure information integrity and access availability. Collaborate with the UC team on network aspects for delivering Microsoft Teams solutions. Support the UC team's migration from on-prem Cisco UC infrastructure to Cisco hosted or Cloud solutions. Implement QoS to support the evolving UC landscape and plan for Wide Area Network capacity upgrades. Roll out Cisco ThousandEyes monitoring across the BlackRock network. Troubleshoot network issues, schedule upgrades, and work with network architects on optimization. Update network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
