Based in Cambridge, working with mechanical engineers, electronics engineers and software engineers to develop their life-improving medical devices. As you will be focusing on optical systems design, it is expected that you have been working as an optical physicist, optical engineer, optical systems engineer, optical systems designer, opto-mechanical engineer or another role that has involved you in working on optical systems designing, prototyping, and testing of new medical devices. You will be developing a range … of medical technologies, so you will need to be able to use optical design tools such as Zemax, Code-V, OSLO, FRED or another similar technology.
