Allegro ETRM Developer/Engineer

Job Title: Allegro ETRM Developer/Engineer
Start Date: Immediately
Location: London/Hybrid - must be onsite 2-3 days a week. Client would consider candidates across Europe to work remotely
Duration: 12 months - but likely to extend
Company: Leading global energy trading client

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Allegro ETRM solutions.
• Utilise C# .NET for service-oriented development, including WCF, Web API, or ASMX.
• Enhance Allegro's integration with other systems
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and develop existing Allegro customisations to ensure the production environment remains responsive, performant, and resilient
• Implement data access solutions using ADO.NET, Entity Framework, or equivalent technologies.
• Design and develop the ETRM user interface using built-in Allegro functions (C# .NET)
• Design and develop SQLServer databases, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with agile teams, employing methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban.
• Work within the energy trading, commodities trading, or corporate banking industry.
   

Essential Skills:

• Proven extensive experience with Allegro ETRMs.
• Extensive experience with C# .NET, including core language and framework, service-oriented development, and data access development.
• Extensive SQL Server database design and development skills, with excellent SQL proficiency and knowledge of database performance optimisation.
• Experience working with agile delivery methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban.
• Proven work experience in the energy trading, commodities trading, or corporate banking sector.
• Experience with Azure PaaS and IaaS and corresponding automation toolkits.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working in a production support environment
• Experience in PowerShell or a willingness to learn.
• Experience in Python or a willingness to learn.
• Experience with Specflow or Cucumber.
