Data Technician Apprentice

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Data Essentials - Level 3 Apprenticeship. Duties will include using data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changes.

Role

  • Designing and creating reports that provide valuable insights into service levels, customer insights and system availability - By analysing this data, you will contribute to the enhancement of IT delivery processes
  • Seeking opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining strong relationships
  • To achieve these goals, you may implement industry best practices, adopt new technologies, or streamline workflows

Through your contributions, you will play a key role in ensuring that service levels are maintained, concerns and issues are addressed promptly, and IT operations are continuously improved.

  • Create and develop analysts for the modern workplace by reskilling your existing talent, or hiring new entry-level talent. QA’s programmes, partnerships and recruitment capability enable us to tailor a solution that works for your business
  • Provide training that acts as a standalone solution or as part of a wider academy/programme to an array of business functions

Tools and technologies learned: Apprentices will learn to use Microsoft Power BI, Excel and SQL Azure.

Upon successfully completing the apprenticeship, this role provides a good basis for other roles within IT or Data teams, providing an insight into business requirements, and opening up into roles such as Data Analyst, Service Delivery, Problem Management or Business Analyst.
