Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Trained towards being able to provide daily assistance to the Senior Analysts, extracting data and populating spreadsheets for specified established reports for service managers, corporate managers, Commissioners, St HA and DoH.
  • Trained to utilise departmental operational procedures to run reports, updating procedures as processes are refined.
  • Trained to utilise and further develop existing spreadsheets and databases to support the development of standard information for users of the service
  • Provided with the skills and knowledge to be able to ensure environment is safe, well equipped and complaint with Health and Safety standards
  • Gain the experience to be able to actively try to resolve issues and complaints at local level and then report the outcome to the line manager
  • Gain experience and knowledge to be able to act as a role model, presenting a positive image of self, team and the organisation

Person Specification

Qualifications and Education

Essential
  • Good general level of education including a minimum of 3 GCSE's grade 4 or above or equivalent including English & Mathematics
Desirable
  • ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence)
  • IT level 2 qualification or equivalent experience

Knowledge and Experience

Essential
  • Some knowledge and understanding of data collection and use of Microsoft excel, Microsoft Access or similar software
  • Confident email and internet user, experience of gathering information from internet sources
Desirable
  • Work experience in industry or public sector organisation
