Senior Front-End Developer

Our global EdTech client is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join their team.

The Senior Front-End Developer will work 100% remotely from anywhere in the UK.

MFK Recruitment has previously recruited 2 Software Engineers to this company, both individuals are still with the company and really enjoying their roles!

The company is growing rapidly, both organically and inorganically, and has successfully completed four acquisitions in the past year. They have a diverse and world-class team poised for their next phase of rapid growth. 

We are looking for an experienced and versatile Senior Front-End Developer proficient in Angular to spearhead the development and maintenance of web applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of front-end technologies, a passion for crafting user-friendly interfaces, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 

Senior Front-End Developer – Main Responsibilities:

In terms of the role and responsibilities, you will:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular framework.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize application performance.
• Integrate third-party APIs and libraries to enhance application functionality.
• Implement and maintain automated testing suites to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends relevant to web development.

Requirements for the role:

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant hands-on experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Angular framework and its core principles.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Angular CLI).
• Proficient with GIT.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. You embrace the Agile values and have experience with working in Scrum.
• You value learning, keeping your knowledge up-to-date, and being the best at what you do.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
