Street Works Administration Apprentice (35946)

The role will be fast paced and varied, you will need to be well organised and have excellent IT skills. To provide administrative assistance to the Streetworks Team and contribute to departmental and other targets.

Role

A normal day would include:

• Operating office systems, processing documents, maintaining accurate records and accessing information in the support of streetworks activities
• Providing administrative support and assistance in an efficient and effective manner to contribute to the achievement of the departmental objectives. These duties, where appropriate, include but are not limited to, preparing work files and all supporting documentation, scheduling operational site visits, co-ordinating 3rd party enquiries, etc
• Resolving enquires from both internal and external parties
• Compiling information, as necessary, to support the development of Management Information
• Organising departmental telephone-conferences and management meetings, organising the agendas and taking the minutes for those meetings, as required
• Organising team meetings and preparing documentation, as required

Training

Full apprenticeship training provided, working towards an Advanced Level Apprenticeship gaining a Level 3 business admin qualification.

Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date. 

Possible progression within the company and progression onto the next level apprenticeship.
