Business Admin Apprentice
Role
We are based locally in Southport but we conduct most of our business in London, so you will get the opportunity to work closely with the team in relation to those projects.
You will report to the Project Manager and work closely with the Operations team on co-ordinating events, preparing project packs and key documents such as purchase orders and updating the back office systems.
You will also get the opportunity to develop your commercial skills as you will be working with different levels of authority within the business as this will build your confidence in the role.
You will also be liaising with suppliers to co-ordinate project pricing and/or to discuss deliveries.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain and grow your skills in the commercial environment and this role will allow you to apply the theory of your course in a practical setting.
Reporting primarily to the Project Manager, you will assist the Operations team day-to-day with the following key tasks:
- Coordination of events with key stakeholders incl. clients, partners, venues, equipment hire, and other key personnel.
- Preparation of project packs.
- Assisting with the preparation of key documentation.
- Negotiating with the supply chain to establish best pricing and stock availability.
- Coordination of on-site deliveries.
- Logging and monitoring of service support tickets.
- Preparation of Purchase Order.
- Working with the team to update relevant systems.
Training
Full induction and ongoing training and mentoring. Apprentices will also have an allocated College Assessor who will make regular visits to the office and conduct on-site training as well as conduct three-way reviews to ensure momentum and progress.
