My client, a world leader in the defence sector and supplier of Missiles and Missile Systems, requires a Senior Motor ControlSystemsEngineer to join their team, leading the design, development and proving of control algorithms Senior Motor ControlSystemsEngineer The Senior Motor ControlSystemsEngineer will collaborate … within a multi-disciplinary design team, owning the design, development and proving of control algorithms, ensuring that customer performance requirements are met. You will experience product development across the full product lifecycle, taking a design from initial concept or technology development through qualification activities and into production. You will: Develop control algorithms for both analogue and digital systems, typically in the control of BLDC motors. Model systems and undertake performance analysis of the selected control algorithm. Derive sub-system requirements (mechanical, electronics, software). Identify suitable electro-mechanical components (electric motors and feedback sensors) working co-operatively with suppliers where needed. Define design proving plans, design proving testing and subsequent data analysis. To be More ❯
