Controls Engineer has arisen within the Controls Engineering and R&D team. They are seeking a skilled controls engineer to specify, implement and commission control system hardware and software for our company's range of handling manipulators, grinders, and robots. The successful candidate will have a varied role and … specification of componentry through to installation and commissioning at the customers site. The responsibilities of this role will include: The design and development of control systems for new and existing products and processes. To configure, program, and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other control components to meet customer requirements. Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure control systems are integrated with other subsystems. Conduct testing and verification to ensure control systems meet performance and safety requirements.
