Job summary The post holder will assist the Pathology IT department in providing advice across all specialties in Pathology. Manage and develop existing and future electronic communications between diagnostic analytical equipment, their controller devices/servers (Diagnostic Equipment Systems (DES)) and the clinical systems they serve. E.g. Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Point of Care Testing (POCT) systems … and Blood Tracking Systems. Manage and maintain the Quality Management Systems around Pathology IT to ensure safe, effective, professional practice in the department that meets regulatory and accreditation compliance for Laboratories, Transfusable blood and Point of Care Testing devices.
