Test and Repair Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the return of suspect equipment from the field allocated to them. This may include updating the history within the Service Management Tool/CMDB, Engineering evaluations, verifying failure modes, dispatching to OEM for repair, where possible undertake in-house repairs, return of items into spare's store/… repair history in the CMDB, functional test and build standard checks, generation of test reports returning serviceable items to spares storage locations • Respond to requests for work from the Service Desk, and Management Team, updating stock and repair history • Goods in-wards receipting and inspection of all items delivered to the business • Ensuring that the allocated Test and … correct build standard of new and returned items • Liaising with the logistics supplier and FSE's to ensure required stock levels are maintained in the field • Interfacing with the Service Desk Agents and the service management tool to accurately record all actions undertaken • Provide comprehensive failure reports detailing the investigation, fault resolution and any follow up work More ❯
