Head of Service Operations

This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end accountability for IT service operations across a complex, multi-region environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring technology services are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across IT service operations, including incident, problem, change, and service performance management
- Own and mature processes, governance, and operational metrics
- Lead and develop high-performing, geographically distributed teams and key third-party partners
- Drive continuous improvement, operational resilience, and service excellence
- Act as a senior stakeholder interface, translating business needs into effective service outcomes
- Ensure services are secure, compliant, and fit for a 24/7 operational environment
About You:
- Proven senior leadership experience in IT service operations within a large, complex organisation
- Strong background in service governance, networks, infrastructure and security
- Demonstrated ability to lead transformation and embed operational discipline at scale
- Commercially minded, with experience managing vendors and budgets
- Confident, credible leader able to influence at executive level
