VP, Developing and Target Accounts

About the Role

We are looking for a VP to lead a high-priority commercial initiative — building meaningful relationships with large enterprise accounts where we currently have limited presence and low engagement. This is a strategic business development leadership role, not account management. You will own the strategy, build a team, and drive results in accounts that represent our biggest untapped growth opportunity.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a strategy to open, build, and grow relationships within large enterprise accounts where the company has limited existing presence.
  • Build and maintain C-suite and senior-level relationships that create long-term commercial opportunity.
  • Lead and grow a team of direct reports, setting direction, coaching for performance, and building a high-accountability culture.
  • Drive pipeline generation, forecasting, and performance reporting for the segment.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Solutions, Delivery, Finance, and Marketing to bring the right resources to key accounts.
  • Represent the company at industry events and strategic forums to build presence and develop relationships within the target market.
  • Serve as a key member of the commercial leadership team, contributing to broader business strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • 15+ years of commercial leadership experience with a proven track record in enterprise account development and strategic partnerships.
  • A history of opening and growing accounts that weren’t actively looking — you know how to create opportunity where none visibly exists.
  • Experience leading and developing commercial teams with a player-coach mentality.
  • Strong C-suite presence and the ability to build trust at the highest levels of large, complex organizations.
  • Deep understanding of how enterprise organizations evaluate and select partners — procurement processes, RFP cycles, and internal dynamics.
  • Experience in a regulated or technology-driven industry preferred.
  • Existing relationships within enterprise account procurement, operations, or technology functions is a plus.

Why This Role

  • Own one of the company’s most strategically important commercial segments with full executive visibility.
  • A clear mandate, a defined target market, and the organizational support to go after it.
  • Build and lead a growing team with a path to expanded leadership as the function scales.
  • Competitive compensation including base salary, performance bonus, and equity participation.
  • Fully remote with travel as needed.
