Business Support Apprentice

Working within a small and energetic business and evolving industry you will be working in a tight-knit team at the forefront of the business. You will be handling administrative task; customer renewals and processing orders, communicating incoming and outgoing e-mail on behalf of the company, handling confidential information with sensitivity.

Role

  • Communicate and handle incoming and outgoing e-mail on behalf of the company
  • Obtain and prepare quotes
  • Chase suppliers for quotes and delivery information
  • Administrate customer renewals and process orders
  • Answer phones promptly and efficiently
  • Update and manage the company’s database; Salesforce
  • Assist team members with requests
  • Chase invoice payments and update CRM
  • Create reports on activity and present them to the Head of Business weekly
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers following up on quotes and orders
  • Handle confidential information with sensitivity
  • Work on projects that will improve the business and working practices
  • Keep procedures and policy Information up-to-date and complete
  • Proactive approach to training/learning new and existing systems with guidance from Head of Business
  • General administrative duties such as managing post, and formatting reports
  • Any other task reasonably requested by the Head of Business

Training

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • Training and training location to be confirmed
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Underpinning skills, knowledge and behaviours

The training provider for this Apprenticeship will be the City of Bristol College who will support you in working towards achieving your qualification.
