Senior D365 Applications & IT Support Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Applications & IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you’ll take the lead in supporting and enhancing our clients critical business applications, with a particular focus on driving the rollout and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).

What You’ll Do

• Provide advanced 2nd and 3rd line support for core business systems, including AX and D365
• Lead application projects end-to-end — from planning and design through to delivery and post-implementation support.
• Manage and maintain integrations across a complex hybrid IT landscape (cloud and on-premises).
• Identify opportunities to boost ERP and production system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Develop and deliver training sessions to end users, ensuring they get the best out of our applications.
• Partner with finance, production teams, and third-party suppliers to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Support essential business activities like stocktakes, including occasional work outside normal hours when needed.

About You

• You’re a seasoned support engineer with hands-on experience in ERP systems — ideally AX and/or D365.
• You have a solid track record working in hybrid IT environments and understand the challenges and opportunities they bring.
• You’re always looking for ways to improve and automate processes — familiarity with Power Automate or Power Platform is a big plus.
• You’re a clear communicator who can explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and guide decision-making.
• You enjoy collaborating with others, take pride in your work, and help those around you grow.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven background in application support, ideally in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft systems and ERP platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience delivering projects on time.
• Flexibility to support the business as needed, including some evenings and weekends.
