Global IT Technology Procurement Category Manager

We are seeking an experienced Global Technology Procurement Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing for technology, working closely with senior leaders worldwide.

• Develop forward-looking IT category strategies that drive value, cost savings and innovation.

• Build strong, influential relationships with senior business and technology leaders to align procurement with organisational goals.

• Monitor global IT supplier markets, keeping ahead of trends, emerging technologies and supplier changes.

• Promote compliance with Preferred Supplier Lists and IT buying channels, addressing gaps and driving improvements globally.

• Collaborate with procurement teams across multiple countries and regions to deliver category plans and sourcing initiatives effectively.

• Extensive IT category management experience within large-scale global organisations, operating across multiple countries and regions. This is essential.

• A proven track record of personally leading complex, high-value contract negotiations across Enterprise Software, Cloud and Infrastructure, and SaaS or IT Services.

• Strong ability to influence and collaborate with senior IT and business stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment.

• Commercial and analytical expertise, including application of Total Cost of Ownership and other procurement models.

• Experience driving change, embedding best practices, and supporting procurement transformation initiatives.
