The Role:
To support the delivery of IT Sourcing and IT Category strategies to modernize the IT estate with further focus on budget and cost management. Driving cost efficiency, commercial value, and risk management. The role partners with key stakeholders to lead and support sourcing initiatives, manage strategic suppliers, deliver complex deals and negotiations, and provide trusted commercial advice, contributing to the ongoing development and effectiveness of the IT Sourcing function. You'll regularly engage with senior internal stakeholders and supplier leadership-great exposure and a fast learning curve.
What You'll Be DoingYou'll be hands-on from day one, including: Supporting IT category and sub-category strategy developmentLeading and supporting RFPs, renewals, and negotiations (including complex deals)Managing relationships and performance for key strategic suppliersInfluencing sourcing decisions across the businessProducing clear, impactful deal summaries and recommendationsAnalysing IT spend, cost drivers, and savings opportunitiesHelping evolve and strengthen the IT Sourcing functionAbout You: This role suits someone who's already built solid foundations and is ready for the next step within a regulated environment.
