SAP Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
We are currently looking for a freelance SAP Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) for our client in the telecommunications sector
Start: June 2026
End: 30.08.2026 with option for extension
Capacity: fulltime
Location: remote
Project Description: SAP Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability and stability of SAP system landscapes (eg, S/4HANA)
- Design, implement, and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Automate operational processes (deployments, patching, backups)
- Analyze and resolve incidents, including conducting root cause analyses
- Optimize system performance and support capacity planning
- Collaborate closely with development teams following DevOps principles
- Define and implement reliability standards (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs)
Requirements
- Several years of experience in SAP operations (ideally SAP Basis/S/4HANA)
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and cloud environments (eg, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with monitoring and automation tools (eg, Prometheus, Grafana, Ansible)
- Scripting or programming skills (eg, Python, Bash)
- Understanding of DevOps and SRE principles
- Strong analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented approach
- Team player with good communication skills
