Senior Mobile .NET Developer (Maui, Xamarin) -£50,000 - !/2 days a month in Oxford

My client are a leading light in the Retail/Sales arena. Currently going through some exciting growth we are looking to bring onboard a Senior Mobile .NET Developer (Maui, Xamarin) to play a key role in the development, enhancement, and support of business-critical mobile applications.

As the new Senior Mobile .NET Developer (Maui, Xamarin) you will focus on delivering high-quality mobile solutions using .NET MAUI and C#, supporting a platform used daily by hundreds of field sales professionals across the UK to manage store visits, audits, merchandising, photography, surveys, compliance activities, and customer engagement.

The Senior Mobile .NET Developer (Maui, Xamarin)  will work closely with the Lead Developer and wider Development team, and contribute to technical design, drive mobile development standards, and take ownership of delivering robust, maintainable, and user-focused solutions. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership responsibilities, including mentoring colleagues, conducting code reviews, and helping shape the future direction of the mobile platform.

On a daily basis the Senior Mobile .NET Developer (Maui, Xamarin)  will be responsible for:

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI and C#.
• Contribute to the technical design and architecture of mobile solutions in collaboration with the Lead Developer.
• Develop features within a modern MVVM architecture using MvvmCross.
• Build and maintain scalable, maintainable, and testable application components.
• Support and enhance offline-first functionality, local data storage, and synchronisation processes.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services through RESTful APIs.

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Significant commercial experience developing mobile applications using .NET MAUI and/or Xamarin.
• Strong C# and .NET development experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining production mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Strong understanding of MVVM architecture and mobile application design patterns.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.
