Patrick Murray and 3Search are working with a pioneering ecommerce and digital retail solutions provider to appoint an exceptional Amazon Client Director. This is essentially working strategially with tier 1 clients on their Amazon Strategy and briefing Activation teams internally to deliver the tactical and executional elements to achieve said strategy.

The Role
The Amazon Client Director will lead key client relationships across Amazon and major marketplaces, ensuring exceptional delivery across retail, media, and data-driven strategy. The Amazon Client Director will develop growth plans, guide senior stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor able to translate complex ecommerce opportunities into actionable results. The Amazon Client Director will also champion best practice internally, mentor teams, collaborate cross-functionally, and represent the business as a marketplace expert.

- Champion client adoption of technology, data insight tools, and performance-focused services.
- Own responsibility for meeting client goals, coordinating closely with growth and retail operations teams.
- Build and nurture senior-level relationships across client organisations and retail partners.
- Steer multi-channel strategies that strengthen marketplace performance and unify retail and paid media activity.
- Partner with business development teams to surface new opportunities and broaden client engagement.
Essential Skills
The Amazon Client Director will bring:
- A track record of success in ecommerce account leadership with deep marketplace experience.
- Expertise in Amazon and ideally Walmart, including retail and paid media knowledge.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for senior decision-makers.
- A strategic, solutions-driven mindset with confidence advising and influencing at executive level.
- Curiosity for emerging technologies, including AI, and their impact on digital retail.
- This role will be fantastic for someone from an Amazon Agency Background or someone with from the brand side with great experience of partnering with agencies!
