At a pivotal point in its growth journey, this organisation is reshaping how customers buy online — moving from a largely telesales-led model to a scalable, commercially driven eCommerce engine. Early experiments show real promise, but the next phase requires senior leadership, sharp judgement and the confidence to build momentum without a ready-made playbook. You’ll step into a visible, high-impact role with the backing of senior leadership, shaping how eCommerce contributes to growth across markets and languages, all while working within clear product and technology constraints.
The Head of eCommerce (title TBC) will lead the commercial performance of a high-consideration digital journey, turning early-stage eCommerce activity into a credible, scalable growth channel.
Role Highlights
- Own end-to-end eCommerce performance, from first visit through to renewal and lifetime value
- Drive conversion, revenue and margin through trading plans, pricing, offers and on-site activation
- Solve complex, multi-step funnel challenges using data, experimentation and commercial judgement
- Integrate eCommerce effectively with telesales and other channels to support confident self-serve buying
- Provide clear, structured updates on what’s working, what isn’t and what’s needed to scale sustainably
You Will Need
- Proven experience owning eCommerce or digital trading performance for complex, high-value or subscription products
- A strong commercial mindset with a track record of moving core metrics, not just running tests
- Comfort operating in transformation, scale-up or early-stage environments with lean teams
- Experience influencing product and technology priorities without owning the roadmap
- Confidence working closely with senior stakeholders and navigating ambiguity with pace and focus
