MARKET LEADING TECHNOLOGY - LEAD PRODUCT DESIGNER

This B2B SaaS business are the leader in their field with millions of global users and a decade of success already under their belt. With a brilliant Head of Product Design at the helm, and massive investment in tech, there is a real energy and focus on design within the organisation, making it a driving force in their product development and brand identity.

What they need -

• An experienced Product Designer who can confidently support the Head of Design and help deliver the strategic design direction of the business as the product continues to evolve
• Someone to collaborate closely with the Product & Engineering teams to ensure a holistic approach to product development
• A seasoned Product designer who can advocate best practice and first-rate design processes for the business
• A designer with laser focus on user insights, brand alignment, and rigorous testing to measure the efficacy of product design updates and changes
• With lots of legacy UX to untangle we need a problem solver, someone who can help raise the bar with regards research, taking a real test and learn approach to solving complex challenges for customers
• A designer who's confident leading by example, mentoring the other designers in the business and supporting the renewed focus on design leadership in the business

What you're great at -

• Taking on a visible role in a fast-paced organisation, leading design processes, mentoring and inspiring fellow designers
• Advocating design internally - we need someone to support the Head of Product Design's vision and make sure they’re constantly evolving the product, and leveraging new technologies
• Guiding design decisions by conducting real boots on the ground research, taking those insights to craft truly user-centric solutions
• Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and openness to feedback
• Being the lead IC in a business with a global track record, driving design enhancements for other complex digital products
• Working in a growth squad, applying a highly experimental mind-set and rigorously testing any/all design enhancements
• Any prior experience with Design Systems would be invaluable and whilst this isn't a managerial position we are looking for people to step into this over time so an interest in becoming a "player/coach" is key
