As part of our continued growth, we are looking to expand our team with the recruitment of a Senior Enterprise Consultant / Architect who can lead and support a wide range of cloud-enabled infrastructure, digital and enterprise technology projects.This role offers the opportunity to work across complex enterprise environments, helping clients shape, procure, govern and deliver cloud-based and hybrid technology solutions. Projects may include cloud strategy and migration, Microsoft 365 and Azure-enabled transformation, data centre modernisation, networking and connectivity, unified communications, cyber resilience, end-user computing, service transition and wider digital infrastructure programmes.The RoleThis is a senior, client-facing role combining enterprise architecture, cloud advisory, technical leadership, project assurance and commercial awareness.The Senior Enterprise Consultant will:Lead client-side advisory and architecture activity across cloud-based and hybrid technology projectsDevelop enterprise, solution and technical architectures that align business outcomes with secure, scalable and cost-effective technology choicesShape cloud strategy, roadmaps, operating models, procurement requirements and implementation plansAct as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating complex technical options into clear, practical recommendationsSupport business development, bids, frameworks and client presentations where enterprise or cloud architecture expertise is requiredKey ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Architecture & Cloud StrategyDefine current-state and target-state enterprise architecture across applications, infrastructure, data, security and service domainsDevelop cloud, hybrid cloud and cloud-first strategies that reflect client maturity, risk appetite, budget and operational constraintsCreate architecture principles, roadmaps, standards and design artefacts to support transformation and procurement decisionsAssess options across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, private cloud and managed service modelsEnsure recommendations address security, resilience, data protection, integration, service management, cost control and business continuityMaintain awareness of market developments, public sector requirements and emerging cloud technologiesClient Advisory & DeliveryLead discovery, stakeholder engagement, requirements analysis, options appraisal and technical assurance activitiesProduce clear strategies, business cases, architecture documents, specifications, evaluation models and implementation roadmapsProvide independent advice to senior leaders, technical teams, procurement teams and programme boardsSupport procurement, supplier engagement, evaluation, moderation and contract mobilisation for cloud and enterprise technology servicesProvide technical governance during implementation to help clients manage risk, resolve issues and realise intended benefitsSales, Growth & MarketingIdentify and shape new opportunities where enterprise architecture, cloud advisory or technical assurance services can add valueContribute to proposals, framework submissions, statements of work and client presentationsRepresent 4C in client meetings, market engagement sessions, supplier briefings and industry discussionsSupport marketing activity by helping shape cloud, digital infrastructure and enterprise architecture propositionsHelp grow 4Cs reputation as a trusted, independent advisor for complex cloud and enterprise technology programmesReputation, People & CapabilityBuild repeatable architecture, assurance and delivery approaches that improve quality and consistency across assignmentsMentor consultants and support knowledge sharing across cloud, infrastructure, service and digital transformation topicsContribute to internal capability development, templates, methods and quality assurance processesPromote pragmatic, client-focused recommendations that balance innovation, value, risk and deliverabilityWhat Were Looking ForStrong experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, cloud advisory or senior infrastructure consultingProven ability to lead client-side consultancy assignments from discovery and strategy through to procurement, assurance and implementation supportBroad understanding of cloud and hybrid architectures, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, networking, identity, security and service managementAbility to communicate confidently with boards, senior leaders, technical teams, suppliers and procurement stakeholdersExperience producing high-quality reports, strategies, roadmaps, options appraisals, business cases, specifications and governance materialsCommercial awareness and the ability to support bids, proposals and opportunity developmentRelevant architecture, cloud, project or service management qualifications would be beneficial, such as TOGAF, Azure certifications, ITIL, PRINCE2 or equivalent experiencePackagePension contribution25 days holiday plus bank holidaysOption to purchase additional leavePrivate healthcareEmployee Assistance ProgrammeOn-going professional development and CPD supportBenefits:Casual dressFree parkingOn-site parkingWork Location: Hybrid remote in Market HarboroughTPBN1_UKTJ
