D365 Functional Consultant – Contract

My client is based in Cardiff and you would be required on site for the first 1-2 weeks, then you can work hybrid / remote.

I’m working with a really interesting client who are looking for a D365 Functional Consultant to support ongoing system improvements.

This is NOT an implementation role – it’s all about BAU optimisation, configuration, and refining an existing system.

The Role

• Work on a D365 system implemented ~2 years ago
• Focus on closing gaps in processes and system functionality
• Hands-on configuration work (not just advisory)
• Collaborate with internal teams & project stakeholders
• Support move from standard costing FIFO

What They’re Looking For

• Strong D365 Functional experience
• Proven background in BAU / post-implementation environments
• Someone hands-on with config changes
• A “Swiss army knife” profile – adaptable across modules
• Ideally Supply Chain focused (over Finance)

Key Details

• 3-month contract (likely extension)
• Cardiff-based
• Onsite first 1–2 weeks, then hybrid/remote
• Start ASAP (next week or the week after)
• 9-day fortnight (every other Friday off )
