IT Support Engineer (1st / 2nd Line)

The Role

We're looking for a capable IT Support Engineer to join our team, offering 1st and 2nd line support across the business. You’ll handle day-to-day issues, help manage devices and systems, and keep everything running smoothly.

You'll work closely with users and IT teams to ensure systems stay secure, reliable, and user-friendly.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for hardware, software, and networks
  • Resolve issues via phone, email, or remote tools
  • Log and track tickets with clear documentation
  • Support Windows and macOS, including installs and troubleshooting
  • Use SCCM (or similar) for deployments and updates
  • Diagnose network issues including TCP/IP and DNS
  • Configure and support switches and wireless access points
  • Assist with mobile devices (iOS and Android)
  • Work with Azure AD, Intune, and Microsoft Entra

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in IT support or service desk roles
  • Solid grasp of IT infrastructure and networking
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and macOS
  • Familiar with Azure AD, Intune, and Microsoft Entra
  • Confident using tools like Autotask, ServiceNow, or Jira
  • Experience with SCCM or similar deployment tools
  • Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS)
  • Mobile device support in business environments
