M365 & Azure Engineer

M365 & Azure Engineer | Hybrid | Brough / Hull

We’re looking for a hands-on M365 & Azure Engineer to join a Transformation & Change function within Group IT.

This role focuses on delivering controlled, incremental change across Azure and Microsoft 365, while keeping the environment stable, secure and supportable.

You’ll take ownership of core services and play a key role in improving BAU support through documentation and Service Desk enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Azure environment (IaaS + hybrid integration)
• Administer Entra ID (Azure AD) including RBAC, Conditional Access and PIM
• Manage and improve Microsoft Intune (compliance, config, app deployment, security baselines)
• Maintain core Azure services (Key Vault, Backup Vault, subscriptions, resource groups)
• Support Azure networking alongside Infrastructure teams (VNets, routing, VPN, ExpressRoute)
• Act as escalation for Azure/M365 incidents and troubleshooting
• Produce documentation/runbooks and support Service Desk capability

Experience required

• Strong hands-on Azure experience in a production environment
• Strong Entra ID + Intune + Conditional Access + PIM experience
• Hybrid / non cloud-first environment experience
• Documentation / operational runbook creation

Desirable: PowerShell automation, AZ-104 certification
