M365 & Azure Technical Lead

£60k–£65k / £80k–£85k for senior level

Hybrid – 2–3 days on-site (3 days to start)

We’re after a confident M365 & Azure Technical Lead to shape strategy, modernise services, and strengthen in-house capability – all without people management duties.

You’ll lead technical delivery, guide improvements, and coach the Service Desk to take on daily cloud operations.

What you’ll do

• Lead Azure & M365 design, delivery, and ongoing improvement
• Support strategy: automation, governance, cost control, architecture
• Help build infra to support data platforms (big push into Fabric)
• Mentor the Service Desk on monitoring and operations
• Manage and secure Azure: Backup Vault, Key Vault, RBAC, PIM, policies
• Work across IaaS, Intune, infra modernisation, networking, and security
• Reduce reliance on third-party support
• Thrive in a fast-moving, complex environment

What you’ll bring

• Solid Azure & M365 know-how (IaaS/PaaS, identity, networking, governance)
• Hands-on with RBAC, Backup Vault, PIM, policy compliance
• Intune and cloud infra experience
• A knack for mentoring – no need to manage people
• Ability to design and improve cloud operations
• Comfortable in a high-energy, tech-heavy setup
