Location: [London – Hybrid (2 days in) | Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 (dependent on experience)
About The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and consultative Information Management professional to join a growing team. This is a brand new, pivotal role where you will be responsible for consulting on the design, configuration, and implementation of sophisticated software solutions that address the full Information Lifecycle requirements of end clients.
You will be the key link between clients and internal teams, working to understand complex business problems and define smart, pragmatic solutions that meet both user and organisational goals. This is a hands-on consultancy role for a true "doer" who excels at planning and proactive engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for clients and internal teams, guiding solution design and implementation.
- Conduct in-depth requirements gathering and workshops with a diverse range of client stakeholders, including Technical/Business Owners, End Users, and Project Managers.
- Design end-to-end solutions that solve clients' People, Process, and Technology challenges.
- Work closely with internal Technical Consultants, Business Development, and Project Management teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Proactively engage with clients to identify problems and opportunities, rather than waiting for issues to arise.
- Lead the design and oversight of data migrations into SharePoint and other M365 platforms.
- Develop a deep understanding of the clients' software ecosystem to probe, diagnose, and find effective resolutions.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an information management, document management, or solution consultancy role.
- A background in Document & Records Management is critical.
- Proven expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the following key areas:
- Case/Matter Management
- Microsoft SharePoint Information Architecture
- Microsoft Purview (specifically Data Lifecycle Management, Records Management, and Information Protection)
- Microsoft Teams & Microsoft OneDrive for Business
- Microsoft Power Automate (Flow)
- Microsoft Power BI
- Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Models
- Data Migrations into SharePoint
- Exceptional consultative skills: Must be able to probe, challenge, and guide clients towards the best solution.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, solution design, and technical/change management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate between technical and business audiences.
