Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Bradford (Mostly Remote – Ad-hoc travel to London or Manchester, expenses covered)

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Overview:

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Network Engineer to join a growing IT infrastructure team. This is a mostly remote position, with occasional travel to offices in London or Manchester (fully expensed). The role offers a great opportunity to work with a mix of enterprise technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure across multiple sites
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and ensure high availability
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to support project delivery
• Document network designs, processes, and procedures

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with Cisco Routing & Switching
• Working knowledge of F5 load balancers
• Experience with Checkpoint firewalls or similar technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet)
• Familiarity with Zscaler or other cloud-based security solutions
• Knowledge of Juniper (or similar) network technologies
• Solid understanding of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs)

Desirable:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE)
• Experience working in on-prem environments
• Exposure to network automation tools is a plus
