Product Owner / Business Analyst - Manchester (3 days per week in office)

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Product Owner / Business Analyst to join a growing technology team in Manchester. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning product vision while getting into the detail of requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement. If you have a solid background in software development environments, strong Agile knowledge, and love turning business needs into working solutions, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into detailed functional and non-functional requirements
• Work with Agile development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Lead and facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and user story refinement sessions
• Act as the voice of the customer within the development team
• Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and issues throughout the product lifecycle
• Ensure deliverables meet business goals, timelines, and quality standards

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner and/or Business Analyst in Agile environments
• Strong experience in software development lifecycle and delivering digital products
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proficiency in gathering, documenting, and prioritising business and technical requirements
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid team environment with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
