ServiceNow Administrator/Developer
ServiceNow Administrator (ITSM) - Nottingham (mostly remote) - Up to £70,000 per annum
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced ServiceNow Administrator to join our team and take ownership of our ServiceNow platform. This role is a mix of administration and development, with a strong focus on ITSM, particularly Problem and Change Management, as well as platform configuration and upgrade support.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring ServiceNow is stable, well-configured, and continuously improving to meet business needs, working closely with IT and wider stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and support the ServiceNow platform
- Configure and maintain ITSM modules, with a focus on Problem Management and Change Management
- Support and contribute to ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and releases
- Develop and enhance workflows, forms, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts
- Troubleshoot platform issues and provide second/third-line support
- Ensure best practices around configuration, governance, and platform performance
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions
- Maintain system documentation and ensure changes are well controlled
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator
- Strong hands-on experience with ITSM processes, especially Problem and Change Management
- Solid configuration experience across the ServiceNow platform
- Experience supporting or leading ServiceNow upgrades
- Comfortable working in a role that blends administration and development
- Good understanding of ServiceNow best practices and governance
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup
Nice to Have
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g. ITSM, LSD, CSA, CIS)
- Experience working in agile or ITIL-aligned environments
- Exposure to additional ServiceNow modules beyond core ITSM
