Technical Design Architect / Network Security Architect

5 days a week on-site

OUTSIDE IR35 - £440/day

3 months initial contract - possibility of extension

We are supporting a leading global telecoms provider on a large-scale network transformation program and are looking for a skilled Technical Design Architect / Network Security Architect to join the team in Reading.

This role sits between Technical Design and Architecture , with a focus on hands-on configuration and implementation within complex, secure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and load network configurations

• Ensure accurate deployment of network solutions based on design specifications

• Liaise with technical architects and delivery teams to support successful implementation

• Provide occasional out-of-hours support where required

Technical Environment:

• Fortinet SD-WAN

• Fortinet Firewalls

• Cisco Nexus

• Cisco Wi-Fi / LAN

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet and Cisco technologies

• Proven background in network configuration and deployment at enterprise scale

• Comfortable working full-time on-site and liaising with cross-functional teams
