Are you a Roku Developer passionate about building cutting-edge Over-The-Top (OTT) streaming experiences ?

We're looking for a talented individual to join an innovative engineering team to shape the future of entertainment!

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain high-performance OTT applications for Roku using BrightScript and SceneGraph , delivering smooth, reliable video playback and polished user experiences.
• Implement and optimize video streaming features using HLS , including support for VOD and live streaming content.
• Integrate Roku apps with backend services for content delivery, user authentication, subscriptions, and analytics.
• Work with DRM-protected streams (e.g., Widevine, PlayReady, or Roku-supported DRM solutions) to ensure secure content playback.
• Optimize application performance , startup times, memory usage, and navigation flows across Roku devices.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver engaging OTT features on schedule.
• Write clean, modular, and testable BrightScript code , following Roku best practices and contributing to long-term maintainability.

We’re looking for someone with:

• 5+ years of professional OTT or streaming application development experience , with significant hands-on Roku development.
• Strong expertise in BrightScript and SceneGraph .
• Proven experience building Roku channels supporting VOD and live streaming .
• Solid understanding of HLS streaming , Roku video playback components, and channel certification requirements.
• Experience integrating DRM solutions supported by Roku.
• Familiarity with analytics, ads (RAF), subscriptions, and in-app purchases within the Roku ecosystem.
