SAP Project Systems & EPPM Consultant

Location: London, UK (Hybrid working available)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced SAP Project Systems (PS) and SAP EPPM (Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management) specialists to join a large-scale SAP transformation programme for a major projects-driven organisation based in London.

This is a long-term contract engagement supporting a multi-year implementation and optimisation initiative within a projects-intensive environment - particularly focused on capital projects, engineering, and construction workflows.

You will play a key role in the design, configuration, integration, and delivery of SAP PS and EPPM modules, ensuring alignment with the client's project execution and financial management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support the design and configuration of SAP Project Systems (PS) and/or EPPM modules.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to define project structures, WBS elements, networks, and cost planning.
  • Integrate PS/EPPM with key modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.).
  • Support blueprinting, testing, data migration, and go-live activities.
  • Provide expertise in project portfolio management, resource planning, and progress tracking.
  • Offer best-practice guidance from a projects-heavy industry perspective (construction, engineering, energy, or infrastructure).

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven hands-on experience in SAP PS and/or SAP EPPM (implementation and support).
  • Prior involvement in large-scale SAP programmes within construction, EPC, or capital projects environments.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting, cost control, and scheduling processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
