Compliance and Management Systems Coordinator - Part Time
Hours: 24 hours per week (flexible working pattern)
Salary: £14.50 per hour
About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Compliance & Management Systems Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day administration and maintenance of a growing organisation's management systems, accreditations, certifications and compliance frameworks.
This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in ensuring the business remains audit-ready, maintains high standards of governance, and continually improves its quality, environmental, health & safety, information security and compliance systems.
Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will help ensure documentation is accurately controlled, compliance obligations are met, and management systems continue to support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Management SystemsSupport the maintenance and continual improvement of:
- ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
- ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System
- ISO 27001 Information Security Management System
Including:
- Document control and record management
- Audit preparation and coordination
- Monitoring corrective actions
- KPI reporting and management reviews
- Reviewing and updating procedures
- Maintaining compliance evidence
Coordinate activities relating to:
- BBA Certification
- CCPI Compliance
- CAS Accreditation
- PAS Accreditation Frameworks
- Industry memberships and compliance requirements
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining records and supporting evidence
- Monitoring renewal dates and compliance obligations
- Coordinating submissions and assessments
- Liaising with certification bodies and external auditors
- Coordinate internal audit programmes
- Support external certification and surveillance audits
- Track audit findings and corrective actions
- Monitor continuous improvement plans
- Maintain accurate audit records
- Maintain company policies, procedures and templates
- Manage document version control
- Ensure controlled documents remain current and approved
- Support implementation of new processes
- Maintain compliance registers and management system records
- Produce compliance reports and management information
- Maintain accreditation schedules and renewal trackers
- Support management review meetings
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes
- Assist departments with compliance initiatives and projects
- Maintain training and competency records
- Support customer and supplier compliance requests
- Monitor changes to relevant legislation and standards
- Assist with new compliance initiatives
- Support cross-functional quality and governance projects

Essential Skills & Experience- Previous experience in compliance, administration, quality assurance, governance or a coordination role
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience managing documentation, records or controlled information
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines
- Experience working with ISO management systems
- Experience supporting audits and certification activities
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and/or ISO 27001
- Experience within construction, manufacturing, engineering or another regulated industry
- Familiarity with BBA certification processes
- Understanding of CCPI, CAS or PAS accreditation frameworks
- Internal Auditor qualification or training
- Experience using document control systems
