🌟 About the Role

We are hiring on behalf of our client for a delivery-focused Solution Architect (Principal Consultant level) to design and lead the implementation of real, production-grade application solutions.

This is a hands-on architecture role accountable through delivery — not a governance, infrastructure-only, or security-focused position.

The successful candidate will shape how applications and systems integrate and work together, making pragmatic architectural decisions under real-world delivery constraints.

🔎 Key Responsibilities

• Own and design end-to-end application architectures
• Lead system-to-system integration design
• Define API-led and event-driven architectures
• Make pragmatic trade-offs aligned to delivery realities
• Partner closely with engineering teams through build & implementation
• Communicate architecture decisions clearly to senior stakeholders
• Remain accountable from design through successful production delivery

🏗 Architecture Focus (Critical)

This role is specifically for Application & Integration–led Solution Architects.

Strong experience required in:

• Application architecture ownership
• API design and integration patterns
• Event-driven and messaging-based architectures
• Cloud-hosted application platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
• Working across legacy and modern technology estates

🚫 Not suitable for candidates focused primarily on:

• Security architecture
• Infrastructure architecture
• Platform-only roles
• Enterprise governance roles

☁ Technology & Delivery Expectations

• Designed and delivered cloud-based application solutions
• Strong integration and data flow design experience
• Architecture decisions carried through to implementation
• Strong collaboration with engineers and delivery leads
• Deep technical understanding (hands-on background preferred; coding not required daily)

👤 Ideal Background

• 10–18 years of experience
• Principal Consultant level seniority
• Background in digital or management consultancies, product-led firms, or complex delivery environments
• Experience in regulated and/or legacy-heavy estates is a plus
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder engagement experience
