MANDARIN Speaking Network and Security Engineer
Excellent opportunity for anyone with fluent MANDARIN Speaking and recent experience as a Network and Security Engineer who is now looking for their next step. This is a corporate banking role, the team need one specialist for the installation, support and maintenance of network infrastructure and security framework and assist the network and security manager in the administration and maintenance of the Banks IT networking equipment through the support of the network equipment, HO network.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Network and Security Manager in the administration and support of all IT equipment.
- Monitor firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems to detect and respond to security threats.
- Analyze logs and alerts to identify unusual activity and assist in incident response and resolution.
- Support vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and apply patches to mitigate risks.
- Configure network switches and endpoints as part of NAC upgrade projects.
- Install, configure, and support Cisco IP phones and IPC services.
- Provide day-to-day network support, including switch configuration, patching, and health checks.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.
- Maintain and enforce IT security standards across all systems and infrastructure.
- Coordinate operational checks and ensure alignment with IT processes and global standards.
- Prepare regular IT support and incident reports.
- Liaise with Head Office and global teams on systems hosted externally.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or Deputy Head.
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant IT support experience, with a focus on networking and security.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
-OSPF, BGP routing, and Spanning Tree Protocol troubleshooting
-NAC (Network Access Control) configuration and troubleshooting
-IPT (IP Telephony) systems setup and issue resolution
-Security monitoring tools such as NDR and SIEM platforms
- Experience in Cisco IP phone installation and support.
- Familiarity with general IP networking infrastructure.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage demanding scenarios.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred.
