Day Rate: £148.38 - £247.52

We're working with a global digital content brand to find a Retention Marketing Manager to join their international marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong customer-centric mindset and proven experience in lifecycle marketing, campaign testing and digital optimisation, especially within a subscription-led or consumer internet business.
The successful candidate will join the Global Retention Marketing team, which operates across 13 international marketplaces, and plays a key role in driving customer engagement and reducing churn through smart, data-led retention strategies.
What you'll be doing:
- Own and deliver multi-channel retention marketing campaigns across web, app, email and direct mail.
- Build and implement A/B tests, analyse performance data, and draw actionable insights to inform future strategies.
- Collaborate with product, creative, growth, legal, and finance teams to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.
- Work closely with localisation teams to adapt messaging for international markets.
- Translate customer behaviour insights into personalised and impactful retention strategies.
- Maintain documentation of test results, campaign performance and learnings for continuous improvement.
- Assist with reporting and presentation materials for senior stakeholders.
About you:
- You're a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and enjoys rolling up your sleeves to deliver.
- You have a strong analytical mindset and are confident working with campaign data to identify patterns and improve performance.
- You bring creativity to your marketing approach but know how to ground it in commercial outcomes.
- You're experienced in digital campaign management across both app and web platforms, and confident using tools to test, optimise and report.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- 5+ years' experience in retention, lifecycle or performance marketing is a must, ideally within a subscription-based or consumer internet business.
- Solid understanding of multi-channel campaign planning and execution.
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing and using data to drive decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, content, creative and legal.
Preferred:
- Experience with customer segmentation and marketing automation.
- Familiarity with global campaigns and localisation workflows.
- Background in outbound or surface marketing is a strong advantage.
