Onboarding Manager
Location: Croydon, UK (Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 days remote)
About the Role
We're looking for an organised and proactive Onboarding Manager (Site Implementation) to lead the successful delivery of new customer sites from signed contract through to live operation.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing technology business where you'll be responsible for turning new client projects into fully operational, revenue-generating sites. You'll work across software, hardware, connectivity and operational delivery, coordinating multiple stakeholders to ensure every implementation is completed successfully.
You don't need to be a technical specialist. You'll be supported by experienced product, operations and technical teams who will provide the expertise you need. Your role is to bring everything together-turning client requirements into a clear delivery plan and ensuring every project reaches a successful conclusion.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of the end-to-end onboarding and implementation of new customer sites.
Conduct client discovery sessions and desktop site assessments to understand operational requirements and identify the most effective implementation approach.
Develop site implementation plans covering hardware, connectivity, system configuration, signage, pricing structures, operational rules and customer requirements.
Create and manage project plans, ensuring activities are delivered on time and dependencies are effectively managed.
Coordinate internal teams, external suppliers and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Obtain quotations, procure equipment and signage, and oversee contractor performance to ensure work meets agreed specifications.
Work closely with technical teams to coordinate system configuration and ensure all sites meet operational and technical standards before launch.
Carry out user acceptance testing from the perspective of customers and clients, monitoring performance after launch and resolving any issues before full operational handover.
Maintain accurate project documentation and hand over completed sites into business-as-usual operations.
Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes and contribute to wider business projects, including estate migrations and compliance initiatives.
About You
You'll enjoy solving problems, working with a variety of stakeholders and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
We're looking for someone who has:
At least three years' experience in implementation, onboarding, project management or client delivery.
Experience delivering technology solutions with a physical element, such as payments, EPOS, access control, EV charging, telematics or similar.
The ability to translate customer requirements into practical, deliverable solutions.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Confidence coordinating contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
Good technical awareness and the ability to understand technical concepts and challenge where appropriate.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients and colleagues at all levels.
A proactive, resourceful approach with the confidence to ask questions, solve problems and drive projects forward.
Experience within the parking industry is not required-full training will be provided.
What's on Offer
Competitive salary and benefits package.
Hybrid working with two days per week in the Croydon office.
Ongoing training, professional development and career progression opportunities.
The opportunity to play a key role in delivering customer projects that make an immediate commercial impact.
A collaborative and supportive working environment within an ambitious, growing technology business.
